These are locally harvested U.S. pine nuts. These come from the mountains in Nevada. They have a soft shell which make them easy to crack. They have a shelf life of several months. They need to be stored in a dry, cool area. They cannot be stored in any type of airtight container, or they will go bad quickly. They are shipped raw and ready to roast.

Please note that these pine nuts are still in the shell, and you will need to crack them open.  They will look just like the photo below.

The pine nuts are typically packaged in one bulk bag. They are not separated into 1 lb. bags. For example, a five-pound order will be in one bag.
